The big fuss is gone and Google has announced all the important developments they had! Focusing on AR and how the company is growing to become your everyday assistant, Google plans to give a unique experience to its users. All we can expect from now on is for their projects to only grow bigger.
This year, it will be interesting to see how Google positions itself as tech companies come under more and more scrutiny for the role they play in democracy and the way in which people digitally connect. Yes, Google I/O conference is over, but all the projects they presented and the promises they made, are about to run in 2019. Meaning that we will have to wait a year to find out about their results and their future plans!
Google dropped a lot of news on Day One of Google I/O, and it sees artificial intelligence taking an even larger role in how we interact with our devices. Google envisions a future where AI is more ubiquitous, where we’ll be making requests from our phones, computers, cars, in-home speakers, and much more. Βut is it accessible to all?
While it’s great that there’s a bigger Nest Home Max and that Pixel phones will soon have the timelapse feature, Google made more meaningful improvements to its existing products in ways that will take them from simply helpful to life-changing.
