Facebook launches a new app for couples!

Written by Eleonora Xenophontos | Apr 9, 2020

Facebook has just released (quietly in the background) a brand new app called Tuned.
This is reportedly a new messaging app which is designed to provide a "private space" for couples to communicate with.

In a few words, Tuned provides the option for couples to create an intimate social network only between each other and no one else.

MAIN FEATURES:

  • Private feed like a digital scrapbook
  • Share songs via Spotify
  • Set a mood and check on your partner’s mood
  • Send photo snapshots, notes, cards, voice memos and more
  • Creation of custom stickers and reactions

As described on the App Store:

A private space where you and your significant other can just be yourselves. With Tuned, you can be as mushy, quirky and silly as you are together in person, even when you're apart. Creatively express your love, share your mood, exchange music and build a digital scrapbook of your special moments.

This app was released under a separate brand "to help set the appropriate expectations with users that NPE Team apps will change very rapidly and may be shut down if we learn that they're not useful to people."

What’s more, it’s free and easy to use and doesn’t require a Facebook account, although users are subject to Facebook’s data rules (signifying that the data provided can be used for ad targeting.

Tuned is now available for Apple users to download only from the ‌App Store‌. [Direct Link]
